Code of Conduct

Honor, Modesty, Virtue, and Wisdom!

Honor: High Moral Conduct. A sense of respect and what is right, just, and true.

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves."
Romans 12:10

Modesty: Decent behavior. Having self control and not boastful.

"For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you."
Romans 12:3

"Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited."
Romans 12:16

Virtue: Moral Goodness. Moral excellence; righteousness. From Latin meaning "manliness," "valor," or "worth."

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good."
Romans 12:9

Wisdom: Good Judgment. Power of judging rightly by experience and knowledge.

Ability to make good use of knowledge; ability to recognize right from wrong; good judgment.

"For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you."
Proverbs 2:10-11

"My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; they will be life for you,"
Proverbs 3:21-22

Faith in and living for Jesus Christ is more about what we do than a list of “don’t dos,” and we hope to live out our vision and mission to honor and glorify God and to leave a Godly legacy by striving to live within this code of conduct, knowing it is impossible by our own power but only possible by the grace of God.
