Socialism: Are free services really free?

Free education, free health care, steal from the rich and give to me. Free, Free, Free!!

Would FREE Education really be free?
- would teachers teach for free?
- would maintenance workers work for free?
- would land owners give land for free and developers build schools for free?

NO, of course not. So be honest, what are you really asking for?

Aren't you really asking, out of jealousy, for the government to steal what you covet from those that have more than you to give to you in the form of free education?

Do not be fooled by the false hope and idolatry of socialism!

8. You must not steal. (Exodus 20:15)
Do not take what is not yours. According to Martin Luther, “We must fear and love God, so that we will neither take our neighbor's money or property, nor acquire it by fraud or by selling him poorly made products, but will help him improve and protect his property and career.”

10. You must not covet or desire your neighbor's belongings. (Exodus 20:17)
Be happy with what God has provided for you and never want what belongs to others out of envy. "Have I looked with envy, jealousy or hatred toward the possessions, talents or achievements of others? Have I desired the downfall or loss of others out of evil intent that I might benefit? Have I grieved that God has bestowed greater blessings on others than on me?" (2) (3)

"VENEZUELA FOOD CRISIS: A WARNING TO THE WORLD"

Venezuela is on the brink of collapse. With food prices skyrocketing, people are struggling to feed their families. Crime is on the rise. Long lines of people wind endlessly around the supermarket in the hopes of securing just the bare necessities. Oftentimes they go home empty handed... Venezuela’s socialist-inspired revolution used to provide plenty of government funding to 'create a more equal society.' Looking at what’s happening in Venezuela now, that didn’t work so well.

Scripture References:

Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
Ephesians 4:28

For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is ... covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Ephesians 5:5

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you... For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.
2 Thessalonians 3:6-11
