Baptism and Evidence of the Gospel in the Old Testament - Acts 8:26-40

Baptism and Evidence of the Gospel in the Old Testament - Acts 8:26-40

The Ethiopian is reading from the old testament prophet Isaiah:

“Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter
and like a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he opens not his mouth.
In his humiliation justice was denied him.
Who can describe his generation?
For his life is taken away from the earth.”
Acts 8:32-33 (Isaiah 53:7-8)

Fear not! Overcoming Fear

Fear: to be afraid or worried.

Courage: doing something even though you know it is difficult.

Bravery: doing something even though it is difficult or dangerous.

God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7
